At Maranda LLC, we stand behind our products and quality controls. If for any reason you are not satisfied with a Maranda product, including a ClueJay-branded veterinary testing product, that you purchased from Maranda or one of Maranda’s authorized sellers, you may request a refund or replacement product. Please note that because we are unable to control the quality of our products sold by unauthorized sellers, unless otherwise prohibited by law, the Maranda 60 Day Satisfaction Guarantee is not available for products purchased from unauthorized sellers. The Guarantee is also limited to the original, end-user purchaser.
Please also note that this Guarantee applies to Maranda products, and not to laboratory or other ancillary services you may purchase separately from or in addition to a Maranda product.
All ClueJay pet tests include FREE return shipping to the laboratory. Each test kit includes the return packaging materials and return transport instructions for the appropriate shipping service. The standard return shipping method for ClueJay Stool Tests is USPS First Class at no additional charge from anywhere in the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii. Transit times vary based on distance from customer to Maranda Vet Labs (MVL), Denver, Colorado. Assume 1-3 business days for USPS First Class within continental U.S.
ClueJay Dog or Cat Stool Tests Level 1, 2, or 3 can be mailed to the lab Monday through Saturday.
Need a ClueJay pet test result FASTER?
Sample processing begins same day it arrives at the lab. Pet owners can optionally choose expedited return transport to the laboratory using the shipping carrier of their choice (e.g., USPS, UPS, FedEx) at their own expense. MVL processes and tests pet samples Mon-Sat with only major holiday exceptions.
If a pet needs a test as soon as possible (ASAP), then please get the pet or sample to the local veterinarian right away.
The 6 digit test activation code is found on a white sticker with black type on the side of the purple test box. This code is unique to each test kit and when activated online, digitally links the pet, pet owner, and sample(s) together and tells the laboratory which tests to run. This test activation opens specific data entry fields in the pet’s digital report for the laboratory technicians to record test results.
ClueJay pet tests ordered by pet owners directly from ClueJay.com are assembled, fulfilled, and shipped on the next business day from Maranda Fulfillment Center, Moonachie, NJ. ClueJay pet tests will ship to addresses with Post Office (PO) Boxes.

Need a ClueJay pet test FASTER?
Consider purchasing the ClueJay pet test from a nearby pet store or pet service provider (e.g., kennels, daycares, groomers, and trainers), or online retailer (e.g., Amazon) with potentially faster transit time. If a pet needs a test as soon as possible (ASAP), then please get the pet or sample to the local veterinarian right away.
That’s correct. ClueJay Veterinary Lab Tests From Home are DIY (Do-It-Yourself). A veterinary exam, prescription, consultation, or relationship is NOT required to purchase the test, submit a sample, or get results. Pet owners are not asked to provide the name of a veterinarian or veterinary practice and are not required to share the results with a vet. The easy-to-understand online test results are provided back to the pet owner directly and privately.
Maranda LLC is a strong advocate of testing through and under the guidance of veterinarians. However, we also believe that some of these authentic, professional tests should be more accessible online and in pet retail stores, through pet service providers like kennels, day cares, groomers, and trainers, and at animal shelters and rescues.
Maranda is founded and guided by veterinarians. We believe in the value of the veterinary-client-patient relationship (VCPR) and strongly encourage you to share your pet’s test results with a local or virtual veterinarian for professional medical perspective and guidance; whether the results come back negative or positive.
Keep in mind that a test result is not the same as a veterinarian’s diagnosis. A diagnosis requires health history, physical exam findings, and maybe other tests to determine the safest and most effective treatment or prevention plan, tailored to your pet’s unique needs.
This new testing power is in your hands, so please use it responsibly.
Yes. Simply put, pet owners now have direct access to some of the same professional tests as vets. The types of tests available through ClueJay are recommended, performed, analyzed, and acted upon by veterinarians every day.
The veterinarian founders of Maranda LLC created ClueJay to deliver the trusted, reliable, reference lab quality pet tests they’ve used countless times with patients during years of clinical practice. ClueJay is an innovative way to make these authentic tests more available.
The phrase “veterinary approved” gets used frequently to market all sorts of products to consumers but is not defined. It should mean the veterinary profession embraces the product, test, medicine, or procedure based on scientific merit and study, and not mean just one or a few vets thought it was cool.
When we say, “vet approved”, we mean the types of lab tests widely endorsed by the veterinary profession as best diagnostic medicine. ClueJay brings these well-established diagnostics right to your door, using the same and often more advanced testing techniques than what veterinarians perform in their own practices.
Yes. ClueJay lab test results are reported in a format appropriate for a veterinary patient record. Pet owners have easy, 24/7 online access to their pet’s test results, and can email a print-ready results report to their vet (or anyone) directly from ClueJay.com.
ClueJay reports are designed to be easily understood (without a veterinary degree) while still using language and measures that veterinarians expect from their reference laboratories. ClueJay pet reports meet or exceed test result reporting standards.
Besides the reporting format, veterinarians also rightfully expect test results to be relevant and trustworthy. Having experienced vets at the helm of Maranda LLC and Maranda Veterinary Laboratories LLC (MVL) is critical for both. ClueJay only offers tests that are recommended and relied on by veterinarians for important pet health decisions. They are the real thing, processed and analyzed by experienced laboratory technicians in ways that meet or exceed modern reference laboratory testing standards.
To support ClueJay pet tests, Maranda engineered and deployed the most advanced sample tracking technologies in veterinary healthcare to ensure sample-pet-test matching accuracy for mistake-free lab operations. Trust doesn’t need to be blind though, which is why we provide evidence-based test results, with photographic proof of microscopic findings (e.g., stool parasites) included on the pet’s report and careful documentation at the laboratory. MVL holds all pet samples for a defined time period after reporting for add-on or re-test requests and welcomes any lab processing questions from veterinarians.
